How Fast Can You Burn Fat?

You can burn fat almost as fast as you like within reason. The question of how fast can you burn fat has frequently been asked by people that want to lose fat and lose weight very rapidly for a specific purpose. Therefore, how fast can you burn fat? About 2 pounds a week would be my estimate. How would you achieve that? Well, it's unlikely you would want to jog almost 2 hours every single day, so you have to work out some way of either consuming fewer calories or exercising more. You should not try to do without fat completely, because you need some in your diet.

Vitamins A, E and K are all essential for your health, and you could not survive without them. That's the definition of a vitamin - they are essential components of your diet, and these three are fat-soluble. They don't dissolve in water at all, so about 25% - 30% of your diet should consist of fats or you will be in a lot of trouble health-wise.

One way to achieve that without consuming too many calories is to eat some fat and a lot of lean protein. A diet of chicken and green or colored vegetables would give you enough fat plus nutrition in the form of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories without overdoing the carbohydrates.

Your body will get carbohydrate from the protein in chicken, which will also release amino acids to build up your muscle tissue. The more muscle tissue you have the higher your metabolic rate and the more calories you will burn. This will help you to burn even more fat and so on. Keep in mind that losing 2 pounds of fat could be 3 or more pounds in body weight.

So by changing your diet to a protein-rich diet, cutting back on sugars and other carbohydrates and relying on the protein to provide the carbs, it is possible to lose 2 pounds of fat in a week or even slightly less than a week.

Increasing your exercise by taking about an hour of aerobic exercise each day and perhaps 30 mins weight training along with a protein-rich diet will enable you to burn fat, feed your muscles, increase your metabolic rate and burn fat at probably your fastest possible rate of 2 pounds or slightly more each week. That's about how fast you can burn fat and remain healthy.
